Description

Over 140 years old this is a wonderful faded and slightly worn antique Tabriz carpet with earthy tones.  Using varying shades of terracotta to brown shades, and off-white, grey wool, hints of sage greens and some blues.  With lots of dye change, abrash - this is where the wool was changed as they weaved this carpet in the late 19th century.  This adds immense character, a wonderful ancient antique Tabriz we would love to show you in our showroom or at home by appointment soon.

We offer a professional home visit service, having visited customers in their own homes all over the UK for over 30 years. We feel it is vital to view carpets and rugs at home, so you can make the ideal choice, trying various options in a room. A free, no obligation service we have offered since 1990.
