Antique Persian Mahal carpet of good room size, with all over herati design.

Circa 1900.

A good country house furnishing carpet with all over large herati design on an ivory field, the indigo blue border frames the carpet really well. The carpet is beautifully drawn with wonderful colour throughout, the ivory field has a soft cream colour.

The carpet is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile.

Hand washed and ready for use or display. The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use.
