Description

A late c.18th, George III period, mahogany bedside cabinet or side table. This bedside cabinet features a three quarter tall gallery with pierced side handles and raised shelf. The frieze with full width single drawer with brass knob handle. Raised on cabriole legs.An unusual bedside cabinet, constructed in solid well figured mahogany. Well presented, serviced, cleaned and waxed and ready for use.

This kettle stand measures approximately 58.5 cm (23") tall, 52.5 cm (20.625") wide, and 31.5 cm (12.375") deep.

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This bedside cabinet is in good condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally very sound and sturdy. No loose joints. Old marks and blemishes, in keeping with age and use. Natural aged split on the back. Brass handle is later. Sensitively clean and wax polished. Overall this is a well presented bedside cabinet and ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
