Alabaster bust of a young woman c.1900. Head and shoulders length bust of a young woman in a close-fitting and patterned cap worn over her hair tied in a bun at the rear. Head and neck carved in plain alabaster whist the clothes are in veined and coloured stone. Particularly nice treatment of the face. Mounted onto a slim plinth with canted front corners. Some minor wear, generally very good condition.
