Well-carved Figure of Artist C1880

Description

This well-carved and well-detailed WOODEN FIGURE depicts a 17th Century Artist, holding his Palette and with Brush in Hand. It dates from circa 1880.

The Figure has a good patina and displays well.

There is a small chip to the edge of one epaulette and the bottom edge of his cloak. These are minor and are pointed out for correctness. It is possible the top of his brush has been lost.

Height: 9 inches (22.5 cm)
