Pair of Large Regency Dining Room Pedestals

Description

Interesting pair of early 19th century large mahogany dining room pedestals in the manner of Gillows of sarcophagus form, one for cold storage, the other for hot. The tops to both slide to reveal lined storage compartments. One has a large slide out drawer for storing bottles. There are very nice features such as the brass lions head handles and the escutcheons which are covered by a brass slide. By repute ex-Cambridge College
