This suite has been on a journey, it was purchased from an antiques dealer in Belgium who has been in the trade for what looks like a hundred years, heavens knows how long this suite had been with him but I was delighted to discover it. It is an exceptionally rare find, I never come across original sets of Jacobean Revival seating let alone, those that have heavily carved Lion detailing.

...en washed back and traditionally French polished from top to bottom, the seating internals were checked and restored as required but mostly it was in very fine order, they have then all been upholstered by a fourth generation trained Victorian upholsterer, he used premium cattle hide Italian fully aniline leather, this was upholstered plain, it was then hand dyed six times, antiqued, sealed, waxed down and polished
