Unusually Large Mahogany Coffee Table C1840

Description

This super and unusually EARLY VICTORIAN MAHOGANY COFFEE TABLE dates from circa 1840.

Its original use was as a bidet and it still retains its original, removable, TOLEWARE liner. This two-handled liner is water tight and is adaptable for many uses.

Our last photograph shows it being used as a Jardiniere.

The condition is good. The Table is strong and stable and the mahogany has developed a good patination.
