A rare quality 18th Century George II Mahogany Lowboy of Superb colour, having highly figured matched veneers and cross banding to the top and drawer fronts .
The cabriole legs having scrolled ear pieces and lappet knee, the drawer fronts with lip moulded edges.
Retaining the untouched original handles, original Oak drawer linings, and tipping up to reveal a wonderful dry clean surface underneath just as we like to see.
This is an early example of a Mahogany Lowboy that has been made in the Walnut tradition using highly figured matched veneers.
Circa 1735.
