Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Jug with Crest 1839

Description

This is a gorgeous antique early Victorian hallmarked solid sterling silver jug/creamer measuring 3 1/2? (9 cms) tall x 6 1/4? (16 cms) across from handle to spout x 4? (10 cms) wide.

The condition is superb with no damage at all (any marks you can see in the photos are just reflections) and inside is gilded and is nice and clean and perfectly usable.

It’s hallmarked for London 1839 with the silversmiths mark for Benjamin Reece Dexter and has beautiful bold decoration all round with a lovely armorial crest on either side

It weighs 271.4 grams/ 8.7 troy oz which gives you some idea of the quality.

This jug will come in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity.
