The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the Regency era.
Over gilded with stars, rings and Greek key type shapes. The centres well painted in bright enamels with sprays of garden flowers and trailing gilt flowering vines. The cup with further gilt decoration around the outside and handle. Both pieces marked in pattern number 2/739 in red and puce enamel.

The cup measures 5.7cm (2 1/4") high to the rim and 8.4cm (3 5/16") rim to rim. The saucer measures 2.8cm (1 1 1/8") high and 14cm (5 1/2").
In good condition: the cup has a hairline to the rim. A small chip to the saucer foot rim but it appears to be from manufacture. No other damage or repair and just minor handling wear.
The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the Regency era.
