The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the Regency era.
A single other reserve is painted with a yellow ground and over gilded to create the effect of a bunch of grapes. Rich decoration over the blue ground with twining grape vine and a gilt sawtooth frame. The upper part is left white glazed with an ornate gilt grape vine, wide gilt bands and gilded handle. Purple Spode Felspar mark underneath, c.1825.

It measures 11.5cm (4 1/2") high, 14cm (5 1/2") spout to handle and 11cm (4 1/4") wide.
In very good condition with no damage or repair and only minor handling wear to the gilt just below the spout, tip of handle and along the raised edge at the bottom of the waist.
