Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

A Regency bracket clock is a British tabletop timekeeper produced during the early 19th century, typically featuring a mahogany or rosewood case adorned with brass inlay and classical architecture-inspired proportions.

Regency fusee clocks utilized a mechanical movement powered by a spring driving a cone-shaped pulley via a fine chain or cord, which equalised the force as the mainspring unwound to maintain precise timekeeping within hand-carved wooden cases.

Authentic Regency pieces often feature painted or enamel dials with Roman numerals, fine brass stringing or motif inlays, cast brass feet, and heavy brass fusee movements rather than stamped modern mechanisms.

Position the clock as a central focal point on a fireplace mantel, a dark wood sideboard, or a library bookshelf, pairing it with clean-lined contemporary artwork or brass decorative objects.

Keep the wooden case away from direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent cracking, dust the surface gently with a dry cloth, apply beeswax sparingly, and have the mechanical movement serviced by a professional horologist every five to seven years.
