Clockwise has dated this Regency Mahogany Bracket Clock to the Regency era.
The single train eight day fusee timepiece movement has been cleaned and restored. The lower part of the case has a feature brass viewing window and is inlaid with brass decorations and the case under the dial is fluted with tapered columns flanking the viewing window all atop a plinth base. The drum topped case has gadrooned cresting and brass finial to finish and the brass bezel is secured by a working lock and key.
