A Beautifully Painted Early 19th C Porcelain Cabinet Cup and Saucer

This fine porcelain cabinet cup and saucer is most likely from the Coalport factory and dates to circa 1830. The inside of each piece has a yellow biscuit coloured ground and is hand painted with dark pink English roses with superb gilded leaves and stems. The centre of both the cup and saucer is left plain white and decorated in gold with a delicate central foliate wreath and beaded boarder. The exterior of the cup is also plain white with a delicate gilt leaf decoration and boarders.

Both are in excellent condition with very minor signs of use to the gilding on the cup handle and rim.
