Description

Impressive Regency pair of giltwood neoclassical torchere / stands; with strong proportions giving major gravitas; the circular tops with carved tulip mouldings above the waisted pedestals with a collar of trailing oak leaves and acorns. The trumpet shaped bases with elongated lotus leaf mouldings raised on ebonised square shallow plinths. Lovely original water gilding showing appropriate signs of wear.
