Georgian Painted Barrel Back Settle

Description

Exceptional Georgian painted barrel back settle of neat proportions and retaining its wonderful original painted grained decoration; the panelled back of slight curved form having four long panels with four smaller panels above; the angled winged sides having scrolled arms and shaped fronted slab ends, supporting the curved seat. The reverse being panelled with a flared base, also having great decoration so can be used freestanding. The whole decorated on pine.
