Fine And Rare Carved Ceremonial Lion Peg Tankard, Circa 1730 Norwegian

Exceptionally well carved and turned large Burr Birchwood Tankard. With lion carved details to the lid, finial and four recumbent lion feet. The underside with carved floral detail, also branded with an initial ‘P’ and old ink inventory numbers.
