Robert Belcher Antiques has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
It was made at the 18th century Worcester Factory and is first period Dr. Wall circa 1770. The pattern is Kakiemon, a style of Japanese porcelain, it is marked on the underside with the early blue crescent mark. Both pieces are in excellent condition with no wear to the gilding. There is a small firing mark on the inside of the cup but this does not show on the outside.
Cup measures 6.5cm height x 9cm wide x 6cm depth
Saucer measures 3cm height x14cm width x 14 cm depth
