Description

Antique English pewter 1 pint measure by William McKenzie of Birmingham, the measure is engraved to the front 'C CHAMBERLAIN NORTON'. The measure has good verification marks including a 'Crown WR'. There is also the letter 'C' impressed into the top of the handle.

Circa 1825-1841.

The condition is good with a lightly polished finish. There are no repairs.

Makers mark: to inside of base, mark of William McKenzie of Birmingham. (PS6331, OP3042), along with an 'X'

Verification marks:

'Crown VR484' Hertford County.

'LYSTA .P.' St Albans Liberty.

'Crown WR' William 1V verification.

There are also two 'Crowned X' marks and the word 'PINT' inscribed to the front.
