Antique English Pewter Half Gallon Spouted Ale Jug, Circa 1850.

Description

Antique English pewter half gallon ale jug with double dome lid, shield thumb piece and original grille to the inside of the spout.

Circa 1850.

The condition is outstanding with no damage and a smooth grey finish. The jug has not been polished.

There are no makers marks.

There is an old Pewter Society label to the base.
