A very decorative late Georgian pewter ale jug. The Jug is of typical late Georgian bulbous form of the type that in dated pottery would be around 1820. The jug is in lovely condition and even retains the mesh inside the spout to catch impurities in the ale as it is poured. The pewter itself is in good condition and of a nice colour and patina, it does not have any marks.
