For sale is antique Royal Worcester Peach Ware blush ivory ground jug with wildflower pattern with an attractive tri-sectioned tapering aesthetic design with a gilded handle and a gilded gold leaf pattern on the top spouted tri-section. The bottom of the jug is clearly stamped with the official Royal Worcester date mark for 1917, with the mark to indicate that it was a first quality firing, pattern no. 1047. The jug is presented in good condition and the hand painted wildflowers are still colourfully bright and vibrant and there are no cracks or chip present or restored; however there are some ware to the gilding which is only evident under very close inspection however this is under extreme scrutiny and does not detract from this beautifully aesthetic piece, but is merely mentioned to give a transparently accurate condition report. The dimensions of this piece are as followed; 23cm height, width of the base is 8.4cm, the width of the top is 5.7cm, handle to spout is 11cm.
