Description

A fine pair of antique English pewter 1 pint tankards or measures with flared foot and decorative fillets; by John Curruthers Crane of Bewdley

Good George 1V Imperial Standard stamps to the front along with clear Worcester county verifications.

Verification marks to the left of handle, VR534 for Worcester County; stamped ‘PINT’ and very clear makers marks. The inside base also carries a ‘Crowned X’ makers ‘ICC’ mark and the words ‘IMPERIAL STANDARD’

The tankards are in excellent condition with a polished silver grey finish. There are no repairs or damage.

Circa 1830.

Height: 4.75 in (12cm).

Base diameter: 4.25in (10.7cm).

Rim Diameter: 3.25in (8.4cm).
