Antique Georgian Style Mahogany Corner Stand | Raised Gallery

Antique 19th century Georgian style corner stand in mahogany, an elegant and beautifully proportioned piece designed to sit neatly within a corner while adding plenty of character to an interior.

Raised on three slender legs, the stand has a graceful appearance that complements its refined shape.

The lower section features one functional drawer, accompanied by two matching false drawer fronts to either side, creating a beautifully balanced and interesting design.

Above, a large raised gallery forms a distinctive decorative feature and gives the stand an impressive presence.

The mahogany is especially beautiful, displaying a unique flowing grain with striking natural patterns and rich variations in colour across the surface.

This exceptional figuring gives the piece wonderful depth and individuality, making the timber one of its most impressive features.

In good condition, well made and of good quality, this highly desirable corner stand is a charming period piece with an unusual form and exceptional mahogany grain.
