Antique 19th century Victorian Canterbury in rosewood, an exceptional example of quality Victorian craftsmanship, beautifully made and of a very high standard.

Elegant in both design and proportion, this impressive piece was created to provide stylish storage for magazines, newspapers and correspondence while serving as a decorative feature in its own right.

The upper section is arranged with multiple open compartments, offering generous space for magazines, letters or newspapers. Beneath is a useful drawer retaining its original knob handle, providing additional concealed storage. The Canterbury stands on finely turned legs fitted with its original brass castors, allowing it to be moved with ease while preserving its authentic period character.
