Small Antique Oak Church Lectern

1900 - 1920
Description

A small church reading stand dating from the early 20th Century. It is made of solid oak in the gothic revival style with a sloped book support, lower shelf and carved stretcher rail. It is a good quality piece with pegged supports and sleigh feet and the oak has a lovely rich colour.

It is in good condition with no major damages. There are signs of age and use with some minor marks and knocks but nothing detrimental and it is strong and sturdy. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and it displays very nicely.
