Lovely Victorian Porcelain Egg Cruet with 6 Footed Cups.

Description

19th century elegant Victorian porcelain egg cruet with a lovely dusky blue transfer foliate pattern on a white ground.

The very attractive stand with central pierced handle and pedestal foot has a lovely shaped edge body with cut outs, embellished with gilt edges. The six footed cups have a ruffled top edge and gilt detail.

Size-stand, 7.5 inches diameter by 6.5 inches high overall. Egg cups are 1.75 inches diameter by 2.25 inches high each.

Weight-550 grams for shipping.

One egg cup with a hairline crack.

The cruet is in very good condition overall.

It is unusual to find an egg cruet with all cups present.

A delicate, very decorative and functional item to use or display.
