Antique Mahogany Low Boy Side Table

Description

Antique 19th Century Mahogany of good proportions and practical size. The table is fitted with a central drawer above two smaller drawers, all fitted with brass knobs. Below is a shaped apron decorated with carved fan detail. It stands on tapered square legs. The mahogany is a good, deep colour with a pleasing patina throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition, with surface wear and marks consistent with age. There is a historic split to the right hand side, likely due to shrinkage of the timber over time, but structurally solid and sound. There is also a crack to the front right of the top of the piece (photographed). The drawer opens and closes smoothly. Overall a very pleasing piece. Our experienced carpenter meticulously inspects, repairs, and restores each item in our collection.
