Antique Regency Mahogany Bow Front Corner Washstand

Description

A Regency bow-front corner washstand of elegant proportions, designed to sit nearly into a corner. The shaped back rises above a bow-fronted top with circular apertures for a wash bowl and water jug, above a fitted lower shelf with central drawer, the drawers either side being dummy drawers.

The piece is a rich mahogany colour with delicate inlay to the drawer fronts and original brass ring handles. The slender legs and shaped stretcher add to the refined appearance, typical of Regency furniture.
