A 19TH CENTURY ' ENCAUSTIC' WARE STAFFORDSHIRE POTTERY JUG painted with classical scenes on a black ground, entitled under base 'Hectors body dragged at the car of Achilles' and 'Combat between Hector & Ajax' with salmon pink borders and handle, pattern number 9377.
