Pair Of Antique French 19th Century Marquetry Inlaid Étagères

A stylish pair of French marquetry inlaid étagères dating to circa 1860. Each with three shelves featuring intricate marquetry in walnut, boxwood and ebonised inlays depicting musical instruments, scrolls and flowers within a cartouche border and united by ebonised outsplayed supports, with original brass three quarter gallery with finials to the supports and brass edge mouldings to all shelves. This lovely pair of étagères could be used as side tables against a wall or either side of a settee but can also be used completely free standing.
 
In good condition for age, some fading and water marks more to the top shelves but still very attractive and versatile pieces of furniture.
