A Rare Chamberlains Worcester Cabinet Cup and Saucer Hand Painted with Roses and Pansies, Circa 1816

This superb Chamberlains Worcester cabinet cup and saucer is of a rare pattern. It dates to circa 1816 – 1820 and is beautifully hand painted with circular garlands of pink roses separated with green leafy foliage with pansy flowers amongst delicately painted rich gilt boarders.

The edges of both cup and saucer are moulded with a dragooned pattern which is also highlighted in gold.

The gilt ornate handle is formed into an elegant scroll which is finished in the centre with the head of a bird of prey.

The cup and saucer are in excellent condition with no restoration. There is some very light wear to the saucer gilding.
