Antique Early English Pottery 19thc Prattware Small Cream Jug. C1805

Description

I just cannot resist early English pottery, it goes so well when displayed with oak & country furniture........and this little oval shaped cream jug from the beginning of the 19thc is no exception....it is made in moulded relief and is beautifully decorated in blue, green and orange....the top part of the jug has vivid blue and orange stripes, while the centre is a band of trailing green vine leaves complete with blue grapes....the bottom part of the jug is finished off with a fish scale pattern of blue and orange colours....bordered top and bottom by a blue single and double rim....the jug has no restoration and no firing cracks.....a perfect collectors piece..!
