Antique Tekke Turkman Carpet

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a very smart Tekke Turkman hand woven carpet in excellent original order dating from around 1910. The carpet has a really attractive rose red ground colour and 7 rows of three guls to the design. With very pretty borders and ends the rug has tasselled fringes and is in beautiful condition throughout. A good soft pile and soft handle make this a very pleasing little carpet.

The carpet measures 186 cms by 120 cms.
