How do I care for an old oil painting?

What periods do these paintings cover?

The selection spans several centuries, starting from 17th-century Baroque and Dutch Golden Age works through Victorian and Edwardian pieces. Later examples extend into mid-20th century British landscapes and post-war artistic expressions.
