N Wilson Antiques Clocks has dated this Regency Ormolu Mantel Clock to the Regency era.
The palm trees then sit on a naturalistic bronze base with an adult and baby gilt bronze goat. The goats are cast in fantastic detail and have a typically regency style. The whole this then sits in an ebonised base with a lovely gilt bronze mount to the front. Finally the case is finished by four shaped, gilt bronze feet.

The dial is then enamel and set out in black Arabic numerals with a thin ring of dashes to the outside marking the minutes. The dial is then finished by two beautifully shaped, gilt bronze hands as well as a shaped, gilt bronze surround.

The movement is then wound from the front and accessed from the back. It is a single fusee example of the upmost quality and works perfectly as it should. The movement also comes complete with its regulating pendulum and winding key.
It measures approximately:
10” / 25.5cm Tall.
11” / 28cm Wide.
5.5” / 14cm Deep.
