Charming Early 19th Century West Country Oak Longcase with Long Trunk Door by John Bishop Born in 1786 Working at Rimpton (Somerset) and then Cheap Street of Sherborne Dorset Circa 1832-52. Only 205cm or 80.7in high. The Painted Dial with Attractive Floral and Anchor Decorations in the Corners, Seconds Dial and Date Aperture. The Hood with Gilt Corinthian Ends.

The 8 Day Movement has been Checked, Oiled and Tested to be in Good and Full Antique Working Condition.
