A very good quality late 19th century French Louis XVI style gilded ormolu mantel clock. Having a broken arch pediment with a twin handled urn to the centre. The inset champlevé enamel panels with floral and foliate decoration. Classical gilded ormolu columns to the four corners, the enamel clock face with Roman numerals, an eight day duration movement and strikes on the hour and half hour. Raised on gilded ormolu claw feet.
