Edwardian Oak Two Tier Trolley Side Table

A very decorative Edwardian oak two tier trolley or side table with an unusual expanding top. The rectangular central top is surrounded by four additional leaves, each supported by a pull-out wooden support beneath, allowing the surface area to be considerably increased when required. The shaped edges and attractive figuring of the oak give the table plenty of character. Below is a useful secondary shelf with a particularly attractive turned spindle gallery to the edges. Raised on slender shaped legs and retaining its castors. A charming and unusual piece of Edwardian furniture with a lovely combination of decorative detailing and clever construction.

CONDITION REPORT:

In lovely overall antique condition with general wear consistent with age and use. There is some fading and variation in colour to the oak, particularly between the different sections of the top, together with minor scratches, knocks and marks throughout. The extending leaves and pull-out supports operate as intended. Some general wear to the castors commensurate with age.
