This garden bench originates from 1930 in the English Country House style, made by Patten & Co of Midsomer Norton. The piece uses teak timber finished in a weathered grey oxidised tone, showing visible signs of age and weathering across its surfaces. The structural design incorporates a rectangular slatted backrest, wide flat armrests, mortise and tenon joints, a slatted seat, and square legs. A metal maker plaque is fixed to the front rail beneath the seat. Practical dimensions measure 81 cm in height, 160 cm in length, 56 cm in overall depth, with a 41 cm seat height. This seating piece functions outdoors in gardens, patios, or lawns for daily relaxation.
