Inlaid Moorish Table - Liberty & Co.

Description

A lovely example of an inlaid Moorish table retailed by Liberty and Co. This beautifully decorative table is profusely inlaid throughout with various hardwoods and Mother of Pearl. The hexagonal inset top with geometric patterned inlay, raised on a hexagonal base terminating in 8 legs inlaid in various timbers .

With normal wear and tear commensurate with age and use, overall this super little table is in good original condition and examples of this design are to be found in Liberty's Furniture 1875-1915, by Daryl Bennett.
