Antique Edwardian Superior Quality Ladies Writing Desk C1900-15

This is an Antique Mahogany Ladies Writing Desk of Superior Quality c1900-15. It is raised on tapered legs with boxwood and kingwood inlay to the legs, drawer front and top. It has a single drawer with mahogany drawer lining and retains its original handle. The top edge is a quadrant moulding wtih a rear flap section for writing utensils. The drawer is large enough for a modern laptop or tablet.
 
When this piece was made we ruled more than a 1/3 of the Planet, Our Navy was something to behold and be wary of, Goods and Products flowed from every corner of the planet to us. Our passport was blue as it will be again and we were proud to say we were British.
