A very desirable antique washstand from the Arts and Crafts period. Circa 1890.
Made by Shapland and Petter of Barnstaple. Highly regarded Devon cabinet makers.
The floral centre tiles are bordered by a rusty red/brown tiled surround. ( one small tile
as a fine crack). Made from solid Ash and polished to a rich nutty brown colour. The shapely
has splayed legs and a long drawer, with a cupboard below. A rare quality washstand in super
