London City Antiques has dated this piece to the 1880s.
Beneath the top sits a single frieze drawer retaining its original decorative brass handle and classical ormolu mounts to the corners.

The table stands on four slender cabriole legs each gently sweeping in profile united by a lower kidney-shaped undertier also edged with a matching pierced brass gallery. The combination of fine veneers, warm colour, and high-quality mounts creates a piece of exceptional decorative appeal.

Versatile in placement, this table is ideal as a lamp table, side table, hall or boudoir table—equally suited to traditional and refined modern interiors.
