All very strong and intact, this Heals antique garden bench seat dates to around 1910, known in the original Heals catalogue as the ‘Alexandra Seat’. Features a slatted back rest, arm supports and seat with lovely original teak finials to the back posts and arms. A timeless model, the solid teak timber will weather naturally further, to a lovely silver colour. This is the best model of Heals antique garden seating with the bench having the double finials to both the back and arms, usually they are just on the back and with decorative bracket front rail supports, all pegged construction and in excellent condition, just the back two legs re-shod in antique teak timbers to match.
