Gilt and Gesso has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
A fine example of a late 19th century, Ottoman period, Damascus octagonal table, a profusely carved fruitwood table with decorative Ottoman motifs and other floral themes, further complemented with bone inlaid central star to the top and border edges to the top. The body features alternating carved panels and traditional spindle panels to each side.
