A 19th Century Carved Ottoman or Damascus Octagonal Inlaid Table, 69cm tall.

A fine example of a late 19th century, Ottoman period, Damascus octagonal table, a profusely carved fruitwood table with decorative Ottoman motifs and other floral themes, further complemented with bone inlaid central star to the top and border edges to the top. The body features alternating carved panels and traditional spindle panels to each side.

A solid weight, well constructed example, just back from our workshop after gentle conservation, no loose joints or panels, an excellent example in very good condition.

A superbly stylish antique octagonal table with considerable decorative appeal and practical use, both function and form that can enhance a classic or contemporary space, an interior design piece.
