Description

A beautiful antique Bakhtiar rug, hand woven circa 1910 with a single medallion floral design on a deep indigo field and terracotta border. Wonderful secondary colours of pinks, greens and golds and a highly decorative rug. The rug is slightly misshapen, being 10cms wider at the bottom end which is reflected in the price.

Size: 2.06m x 1.41m (6ft 9in x 4ft 8in)

This rug has light, age related wear, slightly heavier in a few small spots (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
