Full description of the safe
(Below this is the full description for the stand)
Chubb safes have always been class leading safes and are one of the most respected and well regarded safe manufacturers in the world. The Chubb name still continues to this day and the company still makes highly secure locks and safes.

This bespoke luxury safe has been re-painted inside and out using the base as an inspiration for the fully unique paintwork design and coach-lines. The safe has been fully restored from bare metal, having been stripped and linished to ensure the highest quality refurbishment possible. The safe is triple tone painted in predominately burgundy and black featuring red coach lines and embellishments. The safe has the most stunning painted rosettas and dental moulding paintwork which perfectly mimics its stunning original Waring & Sons safe stand which the safe sits on proudly and beautifully. The safe has painted burgundy panelled sides outlined with red coach lines and black borders which is reversed on the door.

The inside is finished in a cream coloured paint exactly as it would have been originally. The back of the door features a W.H Chubb & Sons transfer which has been re-made to how it would have been originally. The safe has single stage paintwork without a lacquer which has then been carefully polished to a true gloss exactly as the safe would have been originally. The brass-work has then been carefully cleaned and highly polished with the reliefs painted black as per the original.

This impressive safe features the original Chubb cast solid brass polished plaque. The fantastic original solid polished brass handle reminds us of a bolt action rifle as the mechanism is solid and has a satisfying latching action in a smoothly working order. The external lock is a work of art with a fantastic anti pick lever lock design, the locking mechanism has been fully serviced and is working very smoothly with 3 keys for the main door and 2 keys for the jewellery drawers inside. The external keyhole escutcheon has a lovely brass cover with "W.H. CHUBB & Co PATENT MASTER LEVER DETECTOR LOCK" cast into it which ensures its security.

The safe internally is fully fire resistant and features a removable centre division above its jewellery drawers which both are locking with their keys and original brass polished handles and escutcheons. The drawers have a lovely double gold pinstripe to front. To match the paintwork theme our upholstery department has made high quality burgundy full grain leather removable liner to the inside to keep your valuables and the safe itself protected from scratches or damage when items are stored inside. We have also included 2 Energizer automatic LED lights inside the safe which come on when the door is opened or detects movement. The lights are easily removed, have a long life Li-ion battery and are charged simply via USB.

This safe is ideal for a commercial or home office setting for storing important paperwork, house deeds, birth certificates, passports, cash or even jewellery and is obviously very safe, powder and theft-proof.
