Full Length Victorian Dressing Mirror C1880

Description

This FULL LENGTH VICTORIAN DRESSING MIRROR dates from circa 1880. It measures a stately 82 inches (208 cm) in height.

It is in unrestored condition with some minor losses. The GLASS is clear and bright and, as can be seen from the photographs, the MIRROR has a well-made, strong panelled wood back.

There are old mirror plates fitted to the sides and base. There are signs of original gilt beneath the present finish.

A very useful MIRROR. An ideal addition to the Period Home where evidence of character and history are more important than bright, shiny, pristine finishes,
