Description

An attractive Edwardian antique washstand with a marble top. The washstand features a gallery at the back, with a tiled section depicting stories of William Shakespeare, set upon the white rectangular marble top. Below, two drawers with brass handles offer storage, while the piece is raised on turned supports. The marble top is removable for ease of transport and movement. A clean example with good proportions, combining functionality with charm.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition with some signs of age. The piece shows surface wear, including age-related marks and scratches throughout. There was a small area of woodworm on the top, but it is now long gone and has been treated as a precaution. The marble top shows some staining, all of which is shown in the photos.
